Part-Time Stadium Ops Crew Member - Gateway Professional Baseball, LLC

The Facilities Assistant, Clean Team, and Custodian will contribute to the overall success of operational standards set forth by the Beloit Sky Carp. In addition, these people will work with the Vice President of Operations, and other relevant members of the stadium operations staff, to implement first class experiences for fans, players, events and corporate sponsors.

Essential Functions

These are the essential functions of the Clean Team and Custodian roles. Please view the Facilities Assistant job posting to view that role's specific essential functions.

1. Day-to-day cleaning of the interior and exterior of the facility

2. Post game cleaning of seating bowl, 360 concourse, bathrooms, suites, and club.

3. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and window cleaning

4. Clean restrooms including, but not limited to, removal of trash, restock paper products, cleaning urinals, sinks, and toilets

5. Must be willing to operate various types of cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers/sweepers, and any other tools, as related to the position

6. Visually assess all areas of the ballpark for hazards (trash, standing water, items out of place, unlocked doors, etc.)

7. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

1. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals.

2. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

3. Technically proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Office365.

4. Ability to lead teams toward organizational directives and goals.

5. Effectively manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with quality results.

6. Use critical thinking skills to resolve any real-time issues that arise.

7. Strong time-management, organizational and negotiating skills.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment evenings, weekends and holidays.

9. Regular attendance at company events.

10. High level of integrity.

11. Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position includes the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, work in hot and cold environments, lift 50+ pounds, and the use of retail and office equipment including computers.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

These are part-time, regular, non-exempt roles. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
