Partner Support Representative - Intelisys

Summary:

As a Partner Support Representative, you will be a vital contributor to the success of our Sales Partners, providing support and ensuring an exceptional experience with all pre-sales activity. You will be the initial point of contact for Sales Partners, taking ownership of their satisfaction with Partner Support activities. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between suppliers and Sales Partners, providing valuable information on high-level sales support, products, and services.

Essential Job Duties:

• Partner Experience:
• Provide support to Sales Partners, working in tandem with regional Sales teams to enhance the Sales Partner experience.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for Sales Partners, taking accountability for their satisfaction with Partner Support activities.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and Sales Partners, providing information on high-level sales support, products and services.
• Internal Support:
• Provide backup support to peers in the Partner Support department as workload demands.
• Manage MyIntelisys CHAT feature daily to answer questions from Sales Partners through the portal.
• Independent Job Performance:
• Successfully perform daily job responsibilities with minimal support or direction from management.
• Demonstrate a professional level ability in verbal, non-verbal, and written communication, handling urgent matters, delivering news, and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Pre-Sales Activity:
• Gather supplier pricing information and present it to Sales Partners in required formats.
• Assist Sales Partners with order submission, paperwork, and required forms.
• Supplier Knowledge:
• Gain an understanding of Suppliers and products within the Intelisys portfolio, offering alternative options for Supplier quotes.
• Receive training on supplier products, processes, and issue resolution.
• Keep updated of supplier products and promotions, providing informed recommendations to Sales Partners.
• Meetings and Events:
• Attend company, team, supplier, and Sales Partner meetings as requested.
• Additional Tasks and Projects:
• Undertake other tasks and special projects as directed by management.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Supervisor, Partner Support

Requirements:

• Will be required to work hours in the Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST).
• High school diploma. College studies or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Superior proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Must have the ability to learn supplier specific systems and industry specific software programs.
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Office experience preferred.
• Telecommunications experience preferred.
• Ability to work within a cooperative team environment as well as perform assignments autonomously.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a remote environment.
• Travel is not required for this position.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $49,000 - $60,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
