You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation

Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations.Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.Job Requirements and Preferences:Basic Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum Year(s) of Experience:4 year(s) of tax or PwC experiencePreferred Qualifications:Degree Preferred:Master's DegreePreferred Fields of Study:Accounting, FinanceCertification(s) Preferred:CPAPreferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:- Coordinating the preparation of state and local tax returns and supporting schedules for the Firm and partners;- Managing ongoing tax audits;- Prioritizing multiple tax filing requirements and effectively working with partners and agencies to establish the timely receipt of relevant information needed for all tax filings;- Working with a team on automation & digitization including but not limited to: innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, working with large complex data sets to build quantitative solutions, leverage data visualization tools, and utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours;- Researching and documenting efficient strategies for managing liabilities and risks;- Researching and documenting positions taken on complex tax issues;- Making decisions regarding preparation of tax schedules for tax returns;- Solving complex issues impacting tax returns;- Being a team leader who can build proven relationships with other groups and stakeholders;- Creating a positive environment while monitoring the workload of team members;- Collaborating with team members virtually including managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team;- Providing meaningful feedback to partners’ and agencies’ questions in a timely manner; and,- Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.Travel RequirementsUp to 20%Job Posting End DateLearn more about how we work:

salary range for this position is: $73,000 - $240,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonusActual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws
