What You'll Be Doing:
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement a channel sales strategy focused on AWS and cloud solutions, aimed at driving revenue growth through partner relationships.
- Partner Engagement: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to enrich our ecosystem of cloud solutions and content management systems.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Work alongside marketing and product teams to design co-selling initiatives, promotional campaigns, and technical resources that empower partner success.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong partnerships and drive awareness for Codal with AWS and other key cloud providers, utilizing their resources to enhance our channel strategy and ensure the channel's profitability.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the cloud sales landscape, and adapt strategies to address these insights.
- Networking Opportunities: Represent Codal at industry events and conferences to promote our cloud offerings and expand your professional network within the channel ecosystem.
What you'll need to be successful (Requirements)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in channel sales, specifically within cloud solutions or related technologies for a consulting organization.
- Cloud Expertise: In-depth understanding of AWS and cloud computing. Experience with MACH or content management systems is a plus.
- Sales Acumen: Track record of successfully closing deals in the $1M to $10M+ range and winning new business from both new and existing accounts.
- Executive Presence: Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills, with a capacity to be a trusted advisor at the decision-making table.
- Strategic Partnerships: Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and drive revenue through collaborative efforts. Gain in-depth knowledge and oversee the execution of all partner funding and incentive programs.
- Collaboration: Experience working with partner resources (Account Executives, Solution Architects, Partner Managers) to joint account planning and ensure Codal is a preferred GTM partner.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
