Total Energy Solutions, a growing generator sales & service company, is seeking an experienced Parts Clerk for our Geismar, LA location.
Job Duties:
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Monitoring the current parts inventory/Performing Inventory counts
- Pricing parts to maintain profitability
- Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory
- Pulling and staging parts for upcoming jobs
- Answering phone calls
- Picking up parts from vendors
- Creating quotes
- Creating Purchase orders
- Overseeing special orders
- When required, helping in the field with technicians
- Collaborating with service manager/Service Coordinator to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs/PMs
Job Qualifications:
- Sales and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
- Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
- Previous mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer Knowledge
- Product knowledge to ensure they identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts
Pre-employment requirements consist of valid DL, background check, clear driving record, and a drug & alcohol analysis.
Salary commensurate with experience.
