Position Summary:

As a Parts Counter Sales Representative, you will be the face of our dealership in the parts department. Your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service to our clients and assist them in finding the right parts for their vehicles. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering necessary parts, and keeping the parts department organized and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide them with exceptional service

- Answer phone calls and respond to emails from customers inquiring about parts

- Identify and locate the correct parts for customers based on their vehicle make, model, and year

- Process and fill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner

- Maintain accurate inventory levels and reorder parts when necessary

- Keep the parts department well-organized and clean

- Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively assist customers with their inquiries

- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to technicians

- Provide excellent after-sales service by assisting customers with any issues or concerns they may have

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in a parts sales or customer service role, preferably in an automotive dealership setting

- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

- Proficient in using computer software and systems

- Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 pounds)

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
