About the Job
Gpac is currently partnering with a well-respected Agriculture Equipment Company who is in need of a Parts Department Manager. The right candidate will possess leadership skills, have the ability to multitask, and will be responsible for checking freight and managing inventory, as well as managing a team.
Qualifications
•Proven work experience as customer service or parts manager
•Computer skills with working knowledge of service software and tools
•Knowledge of latest technology including computer diagnostic equipment and Precision GPS
•Ability to think strategically and lead
•Strong communication skills
•Customer service oriented
•Two years hands on experience with agricultural equipment
•Write clear parts requisitions, service write ups, and customer estimates
Responsibilities
•The goal is to keep the Parts Department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention
•Work with customers on equipment repairs and repair estimates
•Provide customer satisfaction by serving in a professional, speedy, and efficient manner
•Manage technicians and workflow in a professional manner
•Process work orders
•Process warranty claims
•Keep accurate records and document customer service actions
•Recruit, mentor and develop technicians and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
•Market service sales to grow service department
•Maintain and update computer diagnostic equipment
•Work well with other departments to grow the dealership
•Maintain and provide a safe work environment
•Assist in budgeting and expense control
