The Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: • Receive incoming shipments of materials, parts, and products, verifying their accuracy against shipping documents. • Inspect and check the quality of received items to ensure they meet company standards. • Unload and move materials to appropriate storage areas using forklifts or other equipment. • Record all incoming shipments and maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems. • Collaborate with procurement and inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of orders. • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to address shipping issues and ensure on-time deliveries. • Organize and maintain the storage area, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness. • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts. • Safely operate and maintain equipment, adhering to safety procedures and protocols. • Assist with other warehouse tasks and projects as needed. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics preferred. • Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory management software. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
