Parts Sales Coordinator - Bilingual Spanish - Viking Engineering and Development

Summary/Objective
The Part Sales Coordinator will work with our customers to identify their parts' needs, entering sales orders and tracking for on-time shipments. Excellent computer skills are necessary to navigate engineering and business systems when identifying parts, creating quotes and processing orders. This person should be fluent in English and Spanish to be able to assist our Spanish-speaking customers via phone and email correspondence.
Primary Duties:
- Generate parts quotes.
- Process email requests for parts quotes.
- Take phone calls from customers, to generate parts quotes.
- Process parts requests that come in from the Web Store.
- Process parts orders.
- Upon receipt of Purchase Orders, initiate the Sales Order in accordance with standard procedures.
- Monitor parts order status and communicate any changes to customers.
- Research part numbers and information for customers.
- Pull parts sales data for evaluation.
- Monitor the need for changes in the stocking of parts.
- Log customer comments in ERP system.
Additional Duties:
- Work with the interdepartmental team to develop customer-facing solutions.
- Communicate recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 years' experience in customer-faced sales is preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish - verbal and written.
- Basic understanding of capital equipment preferred.

Preferred Software Experience
- Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Epicor Kinetic experience is a plus.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines 90% of the time. On the Production floor or in the warehouse 10%.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work from a desk for multiple hours per day. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Location
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Schedule is standard business hours. The position is based in Viking's main office location.
