We are looking for a Parts Specialist with attention to detail to be responsible for managing inventory and service quoting. The Parts Specialist ensures that parts or supplies needed for jobs are available for technicians. To be successful as a Parts Specialist you must be highly organized. A good Parts Specialist anticipates the needs of technicians and ensures that all materials needed for jobs are provided.
Parts Specialist Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory and stock levels at local warehouse and remote technician warehouse locations throughout territory
- Maintain inventory stock levels in SAGE and other relevant CRM Tools
- Ship and Receive parts inventory for customer and technicians
- Order parts in advance for upcoming jobs
- Provide management stock level and sales reports
- Quote parts items for repairs.
- Field customer phone calls for parts sales
- Look up parts for Account Managers and Technicians
- Source new suppliers that are cheaper or have better quality parts.
- Plan promotions on parts that are for sale
- Assist in all warehouse activities as needed
- Deliver and pick up parts from vendors to technicians and customers
Parts Specialist Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent
- Prior experience in a relevant field both in parts management and shipping/receiving in warehouse environment
- Standby power or generator experience preferred, but not required
- Attention to detail
- Time management and organization skills
- Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Must pass a background check
