About the Job
MedSource Imaging is seeking a talented full time Parts Validation Technician to provide the best quality technical support and service to our medical imaging customers through parts validation, repairing, inspecting, and testing medical imaging parts.
MedSource Imaging (MSI) aims to be the leading third-party provider for Hologic Mammography Systems, Parts, and Services for both domestic US and international markets. MSI’s primary operations facility is in Charlotte, NC where the company houses the largest third-party inventory of Hologic Mammography systems and parts.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.
What you will be doing:
- Completes validation and repair of parts from imaging systems and document accordingly.
- Evaluates and plan out equipment needed for parts validation and repairs on medical equipment.
- Troubleshooting of parts on medical equipment according to OEM specifications.
- Continual expansion of knowledge base in the validation, repair, and installation of parts.
- Support management through project feedback and communication of issues and opportunities.
- Ensures that circuit boards and assemblies are prepped and cosmetically ready for sale or installation.
- Runs basic test protocols.
- Develops expertise in mechanical install/removal of imaging equipment To ensure all the work is documented in a manner required for compliance and for maintenance of appropriate internal standards.
What is required?
- Associates degree or high in a science or engineering discipline preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an electrical or mechanically focused field.
