Parts Warehouse/Delivery Driver - Kenworth Louisiana

Summary:

Operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager and are primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing for the shipping of product stored in the warehouse, this candidate will also make deliveries on an as needed basis.

Essential Duties:

· Receive, sort, and store new and existing products

· Take inventory and keep records of product stored in the warehouse

· Organize for the shipping of product stored in the warehouse

· Operate a forklift to load, unload, or sort product

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment

· Report any discrepancies in inventoried product

· Generate creative solutions to inventory issues as they arise

· Delivers product locally to customers

· Load, unload, and sort product by operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other equipment necessary

· Keep a clean and orderly vehicle at all times

· Operate the vehicle and other machinery in a safe manner

· Develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors, and/or any other representatives of external organizations

· Provide outstanding customer service and communicate to customers regarding their purchased parts and/or scheduled delivery

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Chauffeurs License Required

· Prior Forklift Certification Preferred, but not required.

Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to moving parts. Exposed also to grease, chemicals, dust, dirt, and the heat and cold of the outdoors.

Forward & Rear Facing Cameras are installed in all company delivery vehicles.

This position requires the employee to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Employees must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
