About the Job
Lamp Rynearson, Inc., an engineering, land planning, and land surveying firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Survey Party Chief in our Omaha office. Responsibilities include the collection, processing and analysis of field data; maintaining communication with internal and external clients; coordinating and directing field personnel to ensure that projects are completed as efficiently as possible; maintaining field notes and other job-related records; training junior level field personnel; and proper maintenance of surveying equipment and truck. A successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies.
Qualifications include…
* High school diploma or GED;
* Minimum two years experience as a party chief;
* Strong understanding of mathematics, surveying principles and QA/QC processes;
* Ability to efficiently perform multiple types of surveys including but not limited to ALTA, boundary, construction, elevation certificates and topographic surveys;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities;
* Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as needed;
* Valid driver's license with clean driving record; and
* Pass background check.
Ideal candidate will possess…
* Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D;
* Desire to explore and develop new technologies; and
* Photogrammetry and/or scanning experience.
