Title of Position: Pastry Chef
Compensation: $75k to $85k plus annual bonus
Job Description: As the Pastry Chef, you will play an essential role in our bake shop by assisting in all aspects of food production and execution. This includes managing the bake shop staff and ensuring that they are working within designated labor budgets while maintaining high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for training and leading the team to ensure consistency, quality, and technique. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be a part of the management team, working closely with other managers to improve our bake shop and menu. This role also involves updating food track recipes as needed and attending pre-shifts to educate staff on new desserts or specialty items. You must establish and maintain positive relationships with restaurant managers, chefs, and vendors. Health and safety standards will also be a top priority as you train and work with the team. Overall, your main responsibilities will revolve around creating a positive working environment while consistently delivering high-quality desserts that align with our brand and meet sales potential.

Qualifications:
- The Pastry Chef must have culinary experience in a supervisory or management role with a minimum of 5 years of pastry preparation and 3 years in management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for the Pastry Chef
· The Pastry Chef must be available holidays, weekends, events, and other peak periods of the restaurant business
· The ability to work with others to design, implement, and continuously improve the systems and procedures that lead to success is required for the Pastry Chef
