Situated in the iconic Coral Casino, with breathtaking 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, this landmark venue provides an extraordinary setting for world-class dining and memorable events.

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee both the production and service teams within the pastry department. Direct a dynamic team, ensuring the highest standards of performance.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison with the General Manager and Chef de Cuisine, ensuring all demands and requests are met with flexibility and precision. Adaptability in a multi-outlet setting is key.
- Event Expertise: Handle a variety of tasks with a focus on event experience, including banqueting breads, lamination, and plated desserts.
- Leadership and Learning: Lead by example while being open to continuous learning. Foster a structured environment where systems are crucial, yet provide flexibility for creative input and changes as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards in cleanliness, organization, and technical execution, ensuring every product meets company standards.
- Administrative Duties: Complete performance counseling paperwork, manage ordering, and oversee inventory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a high-standard culinary environment with event and banqueting experience.
- Expertise in bread, lamination, and plated desserts.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational prowess, and excellent cleanliness standards.
- A deep desire for culinary excellence, with a focus on pastry and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities, maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure. From sudden requests to nightly service requirements, the candidate must be prepared for a variety of demands and enjoy the challenge of it.
In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, experience being accountable for a restaurant P&L, and the desire to learn and contribute.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $ 110,000.00, an annual base salary commensurate with the candidate's experience and the outlined requirements.
