SUMMARY:
The Pastry Cook II is responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. This role requires a fundamental foundation in pastry techniques and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, creativity, and presentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:?

Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.

Ensure quality and consistency in all pastry products, including taste, texture, and appearance.

Follow health and safety regulations, including but not limited to line checks, temperature logs and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Support the Executive Pastry Chef in managing inventory and supplies as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely service.

Learn and apply new techniques and skills under the guidance of senior pastry staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pastry kitchen with from scratch production.

Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
