Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Precertification Representative to support hospital outpatient visit authorizations. This role requires a strong understanding of payer portals and the ability to accurately research and verify patient insurance benefits. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively manage daily communications between physician offices and hospital sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify hospital outpatient visit authorizations efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize payer portals to research and confirm patient insurance benefits.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with physician offices and hospital sites.
• Ensure authorizations are obtained and documented according to hospital and payer guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum Experience: 1 year of hospital authorization verification experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills for daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
