A leading company in the medical supply industry, is seeking energetic employees for a full-time position in their corporate office in Birmingham, AL. This is an in-office position that requires strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer patient phone calls and address inquiries.
- Manage scheduling for patient supply orders.
- Maintain electronic medical records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Oversee patient supply orders using automated ordering systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of patients' medical information.
- Discuss service costs, insurance coverage, and payment options with patients.
- Submit necessary documentation required for shipment.
- Verify that all orders are placed correctly and are eligible for shipment prior to order placement.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and automated ordering systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes is a plus.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
