The Position:
We're looking for a passionate Patient Account Specialist (Biller) to perform billing and collection of insurance claims and private statements. Responsibilities include:
- Performs timely and accurate billing & collection to Medicaid, Private and Hospice insurances
- Follow-up on missed payment and resolve financial discrepancies
- Address and resolve Medicaid cost shares discrepancies
- Assist with obtaining third party authorizations
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a combination of education and experience in healthcare related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare billing office.
- Have an attention to detail and good computer skills
