Job description/Responsibilities:  Full Time (40 hours) AM Shift   Job Summary: - The ER Charge Entry / Revenue Analyst is a member of the Patient Accounting department , under the direct supervision of the PFS Director. The ER Charge Entry / Revenue Analyst is responsible for charge input of ancillary based charges, through the careful review of source data and to accurately record charges associated with patient documentation. Performs audits on patient documentation and charge . The Charge Entry/Revenue Analyst will also complete reviews of charge reviews returned by the coding and billing office .   

Required Qualification:  -Education / Experience and Training:  1. 5 + years of acute care hospital billing experience strongly preferred.  2. 1 + years of assigning accurate Procedural and Diagnosis code to include E&M levels preferred.  3. Knowledge of Medical Terminology.   4. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential required.   5. Proficient computer skills to include the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.   6.
