Responsibilities
Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the financial assistance. Responsible for reviewing submitted applications, calculating the patient's family income, determining eligibility for financial assistance on patient accounts in compliance with State laws and internal policies. Additionally responsible updating the patient accounts in Epic, sending communications to the patients, and making phone calls as needed. The representative may have other duties assigned to help the department meet the established goals.
Qualifications
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
