Patient Care Coordinator - Robert Half

Description We are in search of a Patient Care Coordinator in the Healthcare/NHS sector. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The role involves managing patient interactions, maintaining customer records, and handling front office responsibilities. Responsibilities: - Efficiently process and manage incoming patient referrals - Attend to inbound calls with professionalism and respect - Maintain and update patient records using Epic software - Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures for patients - Handle and distribute faxes as necessary - Provide support to the clinic and its operations - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses, and other Patient Service Representatives - Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and excellent attendance - Show flexibility in job roles and responsibilities - Display care for patients and their needs. Requirements - Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service - Familiarity with Epic Software and its application in healthcare settings - Experience working in a healthcare or NHS setting, specifically in clinics or similar environments - Ability to efficiently distribute faxes and manage other office equipment such as phones and workstations - Knowledge of HealthCare.gov, TRICARE, and NIS systems for healthcare administration - Capable of coordinating referrals and patient check-ins - Strong attendance record and commitment to punctuality and reliability - Basic understanding of R Code is a plus - Proficiency in using video conferencing tools for remote consultations or meetings - Experience in offshore coordination or working with offshore teams is beneficial - Familiarity with the "About Time" time management system would be an advantage.
