Responsibilities:
- Assist patients to exam rooms
- Obtain vital signs
- Document inpatient computer record histories and chief complaint
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures including position, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment sites.
- Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and invasive procedures
- Place leads and perform EKGs
- Perform ear lavages, remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds
- Apply basic dressings
- Collect and label urine and stool specimens
- Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by provider
- Run all lab work
- Splint application
- Collect and sterilize supplies, rooms, and equipment
- Prepare abscess and laceration trays, supplies for pelvic exams
- Measure for crutches and crutch teaching
- Remain flexible for cross training
- Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
- Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
- Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values
Pay: $11/hour & up
Full-time, 12 hour shifts, rotating weekends
