Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician performs duties relative to patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting nursing personnel in providing patient care support tasks (not requiring licensed personnel) in their assigned area and performing other support duties as assigned but not limited to, such as clerical, cleaning, and supply stocking.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Patient Care Tech or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Work Schedule

• Varied Shifts; 72hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
