Patient Care Technician PCT Full Time - Ernest Health

At Midlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Kershaw, Richland and Lexington Counties in South Carolina. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:

·       High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

·       C.N.A certification preferred; C.N.A certification required in SNF, SC setting.

·       CPR Certification required

·       One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

·       Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

·       Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of Infection Control and proper body mechanics

·       Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

·       Utilizes policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

·       Effective organizational and time management skills.

·       Effective written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.

·       Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

·       Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
