Patient Data Clerk
$18-$22/hr

Job Description: A well-known area hospital recently integrated EPIC and are looking for several skilled individuals to assist the Patient Access team with the transition process. Individuals will be responsible for:
$18-$22/hr
Contract: 6+ months
Remote (within EST)
Must Haves:
- High school diploma / GED required.
- Previous EPIC experience required.
- Experience working with large amounts of data and navigating complex systems.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- Background in customer service/healthcare preferred.
Job Description: A well-known area hospital recently integrated EPIC and are looking for several skilled individuals to assist the Patient Access team with the transition process. Individuals will be responsible for:
- Reviewing errors in the queue
- Correcting patient information that did not transition accurately (i.e. birthdates, names, etc)
- Review patient files for missing information and enter correctly
- Remove duplicate files or duplicate information
- Reach out to families or patients to obtain missing information or clarification
- May also be confirming demographics, adding/updating insurance information
