Patient Experience Liaison - Atlantic Health System

About the Job
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Patient Experience Liaison at Newton Medical Center. Required hours are: 10:00AM-8:00PM (M-F, 10-hour shifts) including rotating weekends.
Essential Functions:
- Addresses and greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as required.
- Works with the team members, staff and physicians.
- Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
- Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families.
- Identifies and implements systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service/mission quality.
- Provides data on patient care issues, maintains reports, analyses trends, and forwards information to appropriate departments for action.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED/equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or relevant area preferred.
- Must possess good communication skills and be able to follow instructions.
- To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. (To be added)
Relevant Experience:
- 2 years' experience in Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or relevant area preferred.
