Patient Registrar - Grand River Health

BASIC FUNCTION:

• Responsible for registration of patients/clients, confirming approval for treatment from payers or employers, and scheduling patient/client appointments.
• Collects information regarding services needed and available insurance from incoming patients.
• Additional tasks may include stocking treatment rooms, monitoring hydrocollators temperatures, cleaning hydrocollators, performing culture checks, and monitoring freezer temperatures.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain BLS with 3 months of employment and maintain throughout GRHD employment.
• Working experience in a similar role preferred.

SALARY INFORMATION:

• $17.50 - $19.50 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
