About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Patient Account Representative who has experience with billing or collections in a physician clinic or hospital environment. You will be contacting patients to arrange payment of the outstanding accounts. The right person handles all interactions in a courteous, professional, and confidential manner.

For this position, you need:
- Two or more years of experience with billing and collections
- Knowledge of medical billing and collection policies and procedures, ICD, and CPT coding.
- Computer experience and software knowledge required.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory government provisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Highlights of what you will be doing:
- Assisting patients and family members with billing and account questions
- Work to resolve issues with insurance companies and internal departments.
- Arrange payments with patients on outstanding accounts.
- Ensure patient balances are resolved promptly.
- Provide patients with fee quotes and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits.
- Answer statements and billing inquires.
