Patient Service Representative - TEKsystems

Location:

• Appleton, WI (100% on-site)

Description:

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be tasked with the following job duties:

• Greet patients and families at the front desk

• Troubleshoot issues with patients coming in utilizing the new iPad system for check-in/screening

• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, call on referrals

• Answer questions about appointments, insurance, and payments

• Assist with the smooth transfer of patients between departments

• Assist with administrative work such chart prepping, and and maintaining medical records

• Coordinate patient appointments and information flow between departments and outside organizations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST:

- Administrative background- Filing, scanning, data entry

- Technical abilities- Adobe, PDF, Outlook, Excel (plug data). Converting things from PDF to an Email**

- Working under a deadline without any monitoring

- Organization

- Mathematical- Second counted to check deposits

- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare industry

- Experience handling medical records, posting payments and insurance verification

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Proven record of building and maintaining relationships with customers and co-workers

PLUS:

- ModMed (EMA system)

- Prior PSR experience

- Medical Field experience

- Medical Insurance (Trainable)

- Preparing records
