Patient Service Representative - Float - The Vancouver Clinic

Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our team! This person will greet, assist and provide excellent customer service to our patients checking in for appointments.

Location: this person will float to different locations, covering various shifts at our clinics in WA and OR.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Varying shifts with start times as early as 5:30am, end times at late at 11:30pm. Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance. (Training hours are typically M-F 8am to 5pm).

Compensation: Hourly compensation minimum is $17.60, dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premium is 100% paid for by Vancouver Clinic for full-time employees.

Position Summary: This person must have a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the desire to make a positive impact on our patients. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting patients and their families, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling, referrals, and other duties as assigned. Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.

• Experience with Epic preferred.

• Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors.

• Strong computer keyboarding skills required.

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked.  Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
