Patient Service Representative - Operator

We are looking for an Operator to help backfill our position for our busy office answering the phones and scheduling for several Providers and Physician Assistants in our Holladay Urology clinic. We are looking for a friendly, pleasant, professional Patient Service Representative to join our team. This Patient Service Representative will work with the phone team handling the phone calls our clinic receives from our patients. At Granger Medical Clinic, exceptional care comes from all of us; and we are in need of a Patient Service Representative to join us in our mission of providing excellent patient care.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range (depending on experience): $15 - $18/hr
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Previous medical billing / office experience preferred.
- Experience in scheduling appointments.
- Professional phone manner.
- Knowledge of medical terminology would be extremely helpful.
- Excellent customer service, communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player and enjoy working with people.
- Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- This is a back office PSR position - not as much direct patient experience.
- Answer telephones in a professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments in accordance with established procedures.
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff and patients regarding their appointment scheduling and other needs.
- Getting charts ready for providers
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 10 lbs
- Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
- Inside, climate-controlled working conditions

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.
