Currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Patient Service Representatives to join a dynamic call center team.
Job Description:
As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling Inquiries: Answering 60-80 incoming calls per day from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and other medical facilities.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greeting, listening, assisting, directing, and closing each call with professionalism and care.
- Appointment Management: Rescheduling patient appointments via phone, SMS, or Patient Portal.
- Call Routing: Efficiently screening and routing patient calls to the appropriate departments, ensuring accurate registration and scheduling in EMR system.
- Message Taking: Taking clear and accurate messages on behalf of patients using our internal communication templates.
- Patient Support: Responding to patient questions and needs, including editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments according to clinic protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Maintaining effective communication and a positive working relationship within the department and with other departments.
- Program Knowledge: Demonstrating a thorough understanding of various health programs and services.
- Quality Assurance: Adhering to department productivity and quality assurance standards.
- Additional Duties: Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in healthcare, call center setting.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with exceptional phone manners.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Typing Skills: Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
