Schedule: Weekdays (40 hours; 2 evenings until 6:30pm)
Compensation:Starting at $18/hour (Pending experience)
When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Saco, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

***We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in an administrative capacity for our large outpatient physical therapy center in Saco, Maine. You will join our team of 7 PTs and OTs in an administrative role with tasks including scheduling of patients, verifying insurances, tracking patient visits, collecting copays, and much more. The person we are hoping to add to our team will be team and detail oriented, has prior experience with customer service, and willing to work in a face paced healthcare facility. Health care and insurance verification experience recommended, however not required as we will train the right, motivated individual.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
- Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
- Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
