This position coordinates the provision of multiple services to patients performing a full range of administrative support services for clinic/site including collection of co-payments, registration and scheduling of patients for medical procedures, tests, associated ancillary services and other related duties. Ensures the highest level of patient/customer satisfaction.
Specialty: Vascular Surgery
Schedule: First shift, Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends, evenings or holidays
Location: 123 Summer Street, 210 South, Worcester, MA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Schedules patient appointments and maintains the schedule as adjustments are required
- Transfers calls or takes messages appropriately
- Make appropriate and timely patient appointments, confirmations, and appointment reminders
- Performs certain follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous manner, such as scheduling specialist appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments
- Completes and maintains Surgeon’s schedules, coordinating patient visits and medical procedures
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of call center experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Physical Requirement:
- Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
Soft Skills:
- Superior customer service skills including the ability to multi-task and resolve patient concerns in a timely manner
- Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
