Join Our Team as a Patient Services Representative!
As our Patient Services Representative, you'll be the warm and welcoming face of our clinic, making a positive first impression as patients call or visit us for treatment. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for every patient, whether it's scheduling appointments, managing records, or coordinating with insurance providers to ensure their care is covered.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and assist patients in-person and over the phone, making them feel valued and cared for from the very first interaction.
- Efficiently schedule appointments and update patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Work closely with our insurance coordinators to confirm coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for patient care.
- Handle patient check-ins, collect co-pays, and manage any outstanding balances.
- Support the clinical team with schedule management to ensure optimal appointment times.
- Process records requests for patients, insurance companies, law firms, and other organizations.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, local physician offices, and insurance companies via our multi-line phone system.
What You Bring:
- No prior experience is necessary! All you need is a team-oriented mindset, a self-starter attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- A basic understanding of healthcare terms is a plus, but we'll provide comprehensive training to get you up to speed.
