Responsibilities:The Transporter is responsible for the safe and timely transfer and transport of patients, equipment and other materials throughout the health center. The Transporter has significant interaction with associates from several departments, with physicians and with patients and visitors for the purpose of providing excellent care and customer service in support of the mission and values of Providence Medical Center. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
Qualifications:Education and Work Experience
1. Must have BLS within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
2. Ability to walk to perform basic transportation duties.
3. Experience escorting patients by wheelchair or cart preferred.
