Responsibilities: We are on the lookout for a skilled and committed General Superintendent to lead a range of road construction and improvement initiatives across the Greater Houston Area, from initial planning through to project completion. The ideal candidate will oversee project management, uphold quality standards, and manage financial performance. With a solid background in the field, the General Superintendent will ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with safety regulations, while also offering innovative solutions as needed. This role will involve close collaboration with owners, inspectors, engineers, project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience managing roadway construction projects
- Must have extensive expertise in asphalt and concrete paving
- OSHA 30
Nice to Have Skills:
- BS degree in construction, engineering or similar
- 15+ years of experience in asphalt and concrete paving
- Local to or experienced in the Houston market
