Vaco Staffing is seeking a Payment Poster for a temp-to-hire opportunity! Healthcare setting
Hybrid work week!
\A payment poster systematically records and reconciles incoming payments to keep accounts receivable current and address any discrepancies.
Job responsibilities include: Accurately post payments, adjustments, denials, and rejections for insurance and patient checks, ensuring correct application to accounts and line items.
Review insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and determine payment amounts based on insurance fee schedules.
Handle overpayments and refunds for patients and insurance, and respond to payment posting inquiries via phone or written communication.
Balance daily electronic remittance batches, prepare and distribute reports, and participate in relevant ongoing training and additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements include:Healthcare payment posting experience
Refunds and/or medical billing experience
Proficient in electronic health records/practice management systems, with a solid understanding of major insurance carriers - Preferred

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
