Payroll Admin
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll/Admin Assistant for a company located in Springfield, VA. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial record-keeping.
Pay Rate
$25 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm
Payroll Admin Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment.
- Manage scheduling and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and confidentiality agreements.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
- Input and update data in various systems and databases.
- Generate and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Support payroll processing, including tracking employee hours and preparing payroll reports.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative support.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and payroll management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
