Job Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payrolls.
- Ensure accurate input and verification of payments within the payroll system.
- Collect and verify timekeeping data.
- Manage employee data changes including new hires, pay rate updates, and terminations.
- Audit system changes for data integrity and accuracy.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc payroll reports.
- Respond to payroll and time & attendance inquiries from employees.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Payroll Team members to resolve discrepancies.
- Occasionally correspond with external parties, such as garnishment, tax agencies, and benefit vendors.
- 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with ADP payroll system is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
