Monarch Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a full-time direct hire for a Payroll Clerk to join the team. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves collecting, verifying, and reviewing employee time data, calculating wages and deductions, and maintaining payroll records. The Payroll Clerk will collaborate with the HR and other

Key Responsibilities:
- Pay Calculator: Coordinate with Human Resources department to ensure all wage rates, bonuses and miscellaneous payments are accurate, authorized and approved.
- Record Maintenance: Tracks Paid Time Off (PTO) for all staff and notify supervisors of overuse of hours. Compile and organize payroll materials for annual audits and IRS Form 990 preparation.
- Address Discrepancies: Resolve payroll discrepancies and addressing employee questions and concerns.
- File Maintainer: Maintains employee records related to payroll data and provide relevant payroll reports to department head.
- Employee Support: Provides support for employee inquires related to payroll issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge of payroll procedures.
- Experience with ADP or other payroll system.
- Two years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience with reviewing, reconciling and analyzing payroll transactions.
- Strong clerical, administrative and general office skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in computer skills and technology.
Preferred
- Associate degree or higher.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required to various locations, including meetings, conferences, and events.
- Work Environment: Professional office setting with standard office equipment.
- Compensation: Annual salary range of $35,000 - 40,000.
