We're seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Clerk to manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with certified payroll requirements. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll for our staff and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of certified payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain certified payroll documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve issues.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Ensure all payroll processes meet legal and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role.
- Certified payroll experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
