Job duties for Bilingual Payroll Clerk | Admin Assistant:
- General Admin duties such as answering phone calls
- Accurately and efficiently process payroll and records after reviewing data
- Address payroll-related inquiries through phone calls and walk-ins
- Accept incoming applications
- Calculate employee wages, bonuses, and deductions
- Collect and verify timesheets
- Archive payroll records in accordance with retention policy
- Generate reports for management and government agencies as required
- Provide information regarding updates, pay statements, tax forms, and other payroll-related matters to employees
- Follow all policies and regulations in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and desired skills for Bilingual Payroll Clerk | Admin Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelors in related field is a plus
- MUST be bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Familiar with current laws and regulations (specific to the agriculture industry is desirable)
- Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
