Payroll Coordinator 22 - 25 Hr at TEKsystems

TEK Systems is hiring a Payroll Coordinator for a leading financial institution in the Charlotte area!

Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

Placement Type: 6 Contract with the possibility to extend based on performance

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Location: On-site- Charlotte, NC

In this role, you would:

• Support payroll proactively seek ways to improve processes
• Perform moderately complex administrative support tasks
• Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions
• Interact with Client personnel on a range of information
• Process and verify employee payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including timekeeping data, deductions, and employee information, in the payroll system.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.

Qualified candidates will have:

2+ years in payroll support - Required

Experience with payroll functions and garnishments

Current NC Notary - REQUIRED!
