The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing the weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for the company. This role also encompasses the other duties that accompany payroll such as processing garnishments and other adjustments and keeping accurate records. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Being genuinely interested in providing exceptional customer service is a huge plus.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Responsible for Payroll information maintenance including; new hires, status changes and terminations, direct deposit, deduction code maintenance and tax changes.
- Monitor email inquiries to Payroll inbox and respond to employees with outstanding customer service skills.
- Reconcile Time Reports using Excel and Import into the Payroll System.
- Process garnishments, LOA payments, and other adjustments.
- Calculate overtime adjustments on bonuses and commissions using Excel.
- Work with other payroll administrators in providing full payroll and benefits coverage for 400+ employees.
- Create general ledger imports in Excel.
- Knowledge of payroll principles, IRS and state regulations, and payroll best practices is essential for the success of this position.
- Provide accounting administrative support.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience
- Five years of experience in payroll processing.
- Multi-state processing a plus
Computer Skills
- Knowledge of UltiPro or other ERP systems is a plus
- Computer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar to perform various functions, importing/exporting documents, and calculating numbers.
- Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Outlook. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, sending, forwarding and replying to incoming e-mail, attaching computerized files, and utilizing calendar and task reminders.
- Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Word. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, editing, naming and saving documents, formatting text, and printing.
