The position: The Temporary Payroll Coordinator supports the Payroll Department by assisting with payroll data entry and information gathering while responding using the payroll ticketing system. This position will also be assisting the management team with administrative tasks.
- Assist managers with timecard issues to ensure accurate and timely payment for all associates.
- Data entry
- Collaborate with the human resources department to update associate and payroll records accurately.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Provide the highest level of customer service as needed and respond to a variety of payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
- Create shipping labels and/or mail
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Experience using computer systems such MS Office preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
- This is an onsite role, requiring the associate to work in office during regular business hours.
- The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
