Payroll Coordinator Essential Responsibilities
- Multi-state payroll processing using Paylocity.
- Maintain all payroll records in payroll files and/or personnel files.
- Maintain HRIS with accurate team member information. i.e. new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, withholding orders, etc.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities with our branch offices for all new hires. Monitor the status of background checks & drug testing and communicate the status with the branches.
- Process verifications of employment.
- Perform other support functions for the HR department as needed.
Requirements
- Min 1 year experience using Paylocity required.
- Positive demeanor and strong internal customer service skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
