About the Job
A top 500 company within the service industry has an opening for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Boston, MA. The Payroll Manager will report to the Director of Payroll & have the primary responsibility of processing weekly payroll, maintaining employee data, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Up to $100,000 DOE.
The role requires someone to be local to be the Boston area and will be in the office a few days each week.
Job Description:
- Process weekly payroll.
- Managing a team of 7.
- Audit payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage new hires, employee changes, and termination payouts.
- Enter direct deposit information, adjustments, and deductions.
- Report stop payments/reissues.
- Provide labor reports to operations.
- Manage weekly audit trails.
- Review PTO used for final pay.
- Maintain payroll time sheets and Epay contact list access.
- Offer customer service support for payroll and time attendance issues.
- Complete payroll and non-payroll related projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll-related experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ADP WFN, WFM, UKG, Vantage.
- Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour laws.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor compliance laws.
- Associates or technical degree preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
