About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payroll for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
- Manage year-end processes including W-2 and 1099 preparation.
- Oversee payroll systems and collaborate with the HR and finance teams.
- Develop and update payroll policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide support.
- Manage company employee benefits program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred (corporate retail background is very preferred).
- 3-5 years of payroll management experience.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations across various states.
- Proficiency in payroll software, experience in utilizing PAYCHEX system and Microsoft Office, G-suite (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary
65,000 - 90,000 /year
